there is a jazz hall of fame? news to me. ah well, every city needs their turist traps.
i assume this is miles davis.
however i also assume that while davis is the only one in the rock hall as a “performer,” there are several others that are likely in the “roots and influences” catagory. after looking this up, bessie smith, louis armstrong, charlie christian, jelly roll morton, and billie holiday are all in both by this manner. so really there are currently 6 in both miles being the only one in both as a performer. in addition nesuhi ertegun is sort of in both, the jazz hall was named after him and he also recieved a lifetime achievement award from the rock and roll hall. so really there are as many as 7 people. or just miles.
