But first, an announcement: I am now a top contributor. Worship me.
But really, I bet it’s gone it forty-eight hours. I can’t commit to the badge.
Anyway, The Stones are bluesy, and so are The Allman Brothers, but AC/DC? Guns N’ Roses? I don’t see it. Any ideas?
MQ: How would you rank the worst album of your favorite band? Assuming you’ve heard it of course.
Oh my god, Yahoo suggested rock and pop. This has never happened to me before.

Right, I don’t see GNR as blues, AC/DC has the blues scales in their solos.
My fav band is CCR, the weakest album is Mardi Gras, although it’s still fair, thank God for Sweet Hitch Hiker.
Umm, mid ’60s Dylan and the assorted backup band stuff. Like Highway 61…. and Blonde on Blonde.
MQ: Squeeze by The Velvet Underground (minus Sterling, Lou, Mo and Cale; though he had been gone since ‘68).
Could you call it an album by The Velvets since it’s just Doug Yule?
You’re anti-Bono, I worship you already.
It’s just the influence, Slash does have a real bluesy sound, but deep down, THEY’RE ROCK!
MA: Still horrid. Judas Priest goes hair metal, uggggggh…. -.-
They’re influences are blues and bluesesque.. so, somehow I guess that makes them bluesy. ;/ ? I guess.. In some songs, you can hear *elements*, but definitely not anything worth categorizing them as blues.
MQ; Magical Mystery Tour; 6
The White Stripes. People say that they are blues. I don’t hear it.
MA: Make Believe – Weezer
I give it a 6.5 or 7 out of 10. The lyrics are too generic and sissy.
Congrats Elvis Guru, well deserved!
I’d give Tyr by Black Sabbath about a 4.5 or a 5. It’s a pretty weak album in all honesty.
Perhaps Clutch. They’re neat and kinda bluesy, but I’m not sure if they deserve the “blues” before “metal.”
worship you my ***
and people hear different things
MQ: my favorite band doesn’t have a worst album. i love all of their albums
