Yes, this sounds bizarre. I’ve told some women/girls I listen to classical music when they ask me, “What do you listen to?”. They end up ranting at me, calling me a nerd, dork, freak, gay etc.
Wow, I listen to a different type of genre than most guys. I find it rather pathetic that women insult men who are more cultured. It must be a Welsh thing.
They’re obviously sheep. It’s better to be yourself than copy trends and follow the masses. Good for you.
Try and find some more educated/open-minded people.

You must be young… and they’d say/think that because it’s probably cooler (in their opinion) to like music like Lady GaGa..
Don’t worry though, when they/you grow up – they’ll realise that they were stupid , and you’ll find people who are more like you.
My sister got bullied in high school for liking that kind of music and for being too nice. But now , she’s just left univeristy (was studying classical music) and is probably the most popular girl there.
So don’t worry , and don’t change juuust for them.
I personally hate classical music , it’s just not what I like. but that doesnt’ matter either.

A guy i’m seeing just now is really into jazz, as am i. He gets slagged from his friends but he doesn’t let it phase him and i liked that.

not all girls do. i dont have a problem with guys listening to classical. i just like the piano type of classical. your type is okay. i wouldnt mind though and i certainly wouldnt call u names and stuff because i respect ppl’s opinion… mostly.
i don’t have a problem with it. i like classical music too. i’m into punk rock music but i love classical music just as much
