BECAUSE THERE’S AN ELEPHANT IN THE WAY.
Well, I guess it would make it a lot easier to be able to label that person. You could further prove how much of an idiot that person is by the fact that they like this song by ‘Blah’…it’s probably got more to do with ‘Blah’s’ fans which tend to be ‘lala’ and have absolutely no ‘whatchamacallit’ or too much ‘this’ and you should really get your head out of your *** and start listening to ‘Meow’ because I say so and I’m much smarter/more sophisticated/fun to be around than you because I’m ‘this age’ and everyone ‘that age’ are complete idiots… Which is stupid, in my opinion, though I’m guilty of it from time to time. It means you don’t have to get to know that person, just ask them their favorite music artist…”Oh, you like ‘Blah’. Well, since studies have proven that all people into ‘Blah’ are complete idiots…” not that you’d really want to say that out loud, unless you want to look like an ***.
I don’t think it’s just music, though. It can happen with books, movies, anything. I guess it could also be helpful/less time consuming than researching a persons background, though…but it would mostly just lead to stereotyping.
It tells the teachers about who YOU are, and it helps them sort you parts in plays, put you in groups in Maths and Languages. This is because if you are someone who likes languages, you will have different a personality, than a mathematician.
